Am I required to register?


Answer: Yes. In order to access the CHE learning activity and your personalized My CHE Profile, please complete the free registration.

Do I have to be a physician to access the site?


Answer: While educational material on the Web site is intended for medical professionals only, anyone who wishes to register may access content.

I forgot my password. What can I do?


Answer: If you have forgotten your password, please click on the "Forgot password?" link which is found on the Login bar. You will be instructed to submit your username (the e-mail address which was used to register on the site). Your password will be e-mailed to that address.

How does the "Remember Me" feature work?


Answer: When you check the "Remember Me" option during Login, you will be automatically logged in to your account each time you visit The Canadian Flu Guide Educational Program from the same web browser on the same computer. Once you log out of the Web site, by clicking the "logout" link, this information will no longer be stored.

Always remember to logout if you have accessed your account from a shared computer, or you wish to protect the security of your account.

What software do I need to complete the CHE activities?

What steps are involved in completing the Learning Modules?


Answer: Once you have logged into the Web site, you will be directed to your My CHE Profile page, where you may select the educational resource you wish to review.

A number of learning resources are available to registered users of this Web site, including PowerPoint slides, cases studies, interactive algorithms, and animations.

Registered users will also be asked to complete a pre-test and a post-test as well as a program evaluation, once all content has been reviewed.

Family physicians who wish to claim CHE credits will be able to download a certificate from their My CHE Profile page.

Why does nothing happen when I attempt to open a section within the Learning Module?


Answer: Javascript, "cookies" and "pop-ups" must be enabled. You can enable these features on a per-site basis in most browsers (The Canadian Flu Guide Educational Program contains no advertising).

How do I select an educational resource, after I have viewed another resource?


Answer: Once you have reviewed a resource within the learning activity and would like to review another, please click the “Return to Menu” button located in the top, right corner of the screen. This will direct you to the Learning Module Menu, where you may select the next resource.

Must I review all educational resources during one visit to the Web site?


Answer: No. When you begin to review the educational resources, it will appear under the “Current Learning Module(s)-in progress” section at the top of your My CHE Profile page. If you must exit the site before reviewing all educational resources, on your next visit simply click "Resume Activity" to continue.
